NEW YEAR, NEW ME !

Does that really happen, I mean what do we expect a night is going to make although I do not want to be a pessimist here. This is me rambling about a lot of things but mainly food. Isn’t that the only thing that should matter. I guess I have spent more time thinking about writing this blog than actually writing it. Well, here I am, a fresh culinary graduate. Learning a little every morning I walk into my kitchen.

As the title goes I have no idea what the new year brings for me, looking at all these Instagram posts sharing all the decade transformations on how the progress they have made, its fascinating to me that even if I don’t care it lies in my sub conscious mind and plays with it. I fall into that pretense of becoming that transformation. Right now, at this moment, I do not seem to have a purpose in life, I am going with the curve balls life throws at me and wherever I am today makes me happy, eh? I still have a lot to learn and accomplish. But this urge or curiosity to become something is so depressing at times. Its good to reach out and explore your potential but is it really necessary? Why can’t we just chill and relax? Some days I want to become this great Chef and some days I want to stay a housewife. Its funny.

It is very intimidating what we see on social media and we can take it in all the ways whichever suits our boat, but there is no harm in trying, is there? So I am trying, to reach out for a purpose with food. The New Year, New Me might change something but something will also remain a constant. Food, Food and more food.

Well for me, the first day of the year was a holiday, I decided to give myself a break and actually got out of my apartment. Picked up a chick – fila burger because I get hungry as soon as we are out. The weather was good, a little cloudy. While coming back, found a really beautiful park right around my apartment and cursed myself for not finding it earlier. I have driven around it so many times and ignored it completely. Spent the whole day in that park, walking and embracing that beautiful nature around me. Finished the day with lots of pictures and obviously some tacos !
